IDGAF, the bold single from Dua Lipa’s debut album, takes us into the heart of a breakup’s emotional battlefield. Directed by Henry Scholfield and conceptualized in collaboration with Mosaert’s Paul and Luc, the video offers a vivid, visual representation of Dua Lipa’s inner turmoil. Set within a stark, white space, Dua and her dancers occupy two opposing sides, embodying the conflict between her alter egos—one a cold, defiant blue, the other a softer, more vulnerable orange. In this hypnotic tableau, the contrasting hues perfectly capture the emotional tension between strength and vulnerability.

The choreography, crafted by Marion Motin, is a visceral emotional exchange—movements that you feel rather than watch. It’s not just a battle of dance, but a struggle within. The fierce, commanding alter ego confronts her softer counterpart, ultimately persuading her that they no longer care for the lingering ex.

Through this emotional dance, IDGAF goes beyond the literal breakup and becomes a visualization of empowerment—showing how we all fight within ourselves to move forward, beyond the past.
